About Me🔗
I am a computer scientist, privacy enthusiast, and lecturer at the University of St Andrews. My main research topic is computer systems, with a particular focus on networks, security, and privacy.
I like making computers do weird things, and working out why. That's what makes security and privacy research so interesting - computers weren't expected to have these problems, so solving them requires a special blend of technical expertise and outside-the-box creativity.
Coming Up🔗
I will be at the 1st International Workshop on Low Carbon Computing in Glasgow in December.
In January I am excited to be taking up a position as a Lecturer in Abertay's Department of Cybersecurity. As I give a fond farewell to St Andrews after almost a decade, I look forwards to the new opportunities I will find across the river.
